GARDEN OF LIGHT

This collection emerged during a 2012 winter residency at the Banff Centre’s Leighton Studios. Reflective of the powerful natural surroundings outside the studio where they were created, these paintings are a physical expression of the wildness and wilderness. A unique combination of atmospheric energy, creative delight and extreme physicality results in individual pieces that appear to generate their own light.  The collection as a whole and each painting within it creates physical poetic metaphor that is the Garden of Light.
